Manhattan College is a fantastic institution with a strong sense of community. The campus is beautiful, and the faculty and staff are supportive and dedicated. The rigorous and well-rounded academic programs provide students with a great education. The college also offers many opportunities for internships and career development. Overall, I highly recommend Manhattan College for anyone looking for a quality education in a supportive environment.

The location is really pretty and everyone is friendly but it’s a lot of walking to get from one place to another

I love my professors and the classes I take, I truly feel like I'm getting the most out of my education here. Most of the people here are commuters and the school is kind of broke so that isn't ideal.

Manhattan College is a small private school that provides local students the opportunity to come better themselves and receive a higher education. The college has small class sizes, which allow for students to make good relationships with professors for a more well rounded learning experience. The college checks all boxes for those who want a more intimate experience in their education. Though the school is in place for learning, that’s all there is to it. The campus food does not change and the student life is rarely anything more than clubs associated with majors.

The first semester is very enjoyable. Meeting new friends, joining clubs, and getting used to new surroundings was very fun at the time. Since then our school has entered a financial crisis where half of our students and professors have left and the school isn't the same as it used to be. They are raising tuition and housing which is making it hard for me to afford and the school is becoming a rough experience over all.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and being so close to NYC. The professors are amazing! If I had to change anything I would say there are sometimes poor planning on administration part that can cause miscommunication down the chain. Also the food in the dining halls were okay, but the dining staff are great!

I loved my Dean and the school of liberal arts had some great teachers but with the merger and lack of transparency from those in charge has lead a lot of these awesome staff members including the beloved Dean of liberal arts. :( The neighborhood is very nice and underrated in my opinion. We have tons of food options around us, we’re across the street from Van Courtlandt park where there are trails, a pool in the summer and tons of green space!

Manhattan College is perfect for someone coming from a small town who would love to enjoy NYC in their off time. If you're serious about your academics, there are many great study spaces on campus and the library staff are super helpful. If you like to party, the easiest way to get into that is to join greek life. However, plenty of people like to hang out together in the dorms. It's super easy to get involved in clubs and student orgs and you'll make a lot of friends from that. Once you find your people, Manhattan College can really be whatever you make it. I'm a quiet person and I really appreciate that I was able to make great friends while also having a good amount of time to focus on myself and grow.

The area is great as is the community surrounding the campus. The campus is secure, but access outside is easy and no real separation exists.

I have been attending Manhattan College since 2019. I have seen it gone from the great college it is meant to be to a complete disaster. The administrators in charge of the funding of Manhattan College screwed so many people over in their incompetence, and as a result the school is rapidly going downhill.

Not recommended, if you're thinking about Manhattan College, you're probably thinking about getting the "college experience". You won't find that here, either save your money and go to a CUNY or go somewhere else.

Manhattan College is a perfect school for anyone wanting to go to college in NYC but also wants an actual campus with solid campus life. Professors are very passionate about the classes they teach, and they also give a lot of help outside of class during office hours. Advisors are really easy to communicate with, as they are great about responding to emails and setting up meetings to help out with scheduling or just to give some advice. The Riverdale area as a whole is a very unique neighborhood in NYC with a lot of opportunities and good local spots filled with different cultural experiences.

It seems that the programs are designed to not only foster intellectual growth but also provide practical skills and real-world experiences. The school's passionate faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and vibrant community make it an ideal environment for nurturing talents and achieving academic success.

One thing I like about Manhattan college is its strong sense of community, emphasis on experiential learning, and commitment to social justice. The college's small class sizes, dedicated faculty, and diverse range of academic programs are commonly mentioned positive aspects. Additionally, its location in New York City provides unique opportunities for internships and networking. To get the latest perspectives, consider checking recent student reviews or reaching out to the college directly
And on thing I'll like to see changed about Manhattan college is the Financial aid,Concerns about the cost of education and the availability of financial aid are often expressed. Students may desire increased financial support or more accessible scholarship opportunities.

My experience with Manhattan college these past years have been a challenge to say the least. As a commuter, time management has been a whole challenge, as driving there during rush hours everyday can be a lot. The school itself is nothing special, classes look like your typical high school rooms and the professors are alright. Furthermore, a lot of the classes you take as pre-requisites, you can take at another school to save money as going to Manhattan college is very expensive. Especially since they're in debt. Although, going to this school has given me a solid foundation on the field of engineering, a lot of the classes and professors are mediocre.

This college is super friendly, with the best professors who are willing to help after hours to study. Manhattan College makes sure all of its students feel comfortable and at home. They have many international students to connect and meet with. Overall the experience has been great!

the social scene is dead and the academics are rigorous. Dining hall is bad and all the buildings are run down except Higgins and Kelly. Do not expect a “college experience”

Orientation was a great experience! Orientation leaders had activities planned for each day, they made them fun and interactive. Student to teacher ratio is great, whenever I have a problem I can email, speak to, or go to my professor's office hours. There are many clubs and organizations for everyone to try out including, BSU, Fuerza Latina, Player, Gaelic Society, and many more.
